Bitless Bridle Sizing Guide
A well-fitting bridle is a comfortable bridle. Take two measurements, check them against the charts below, and you’ll know your horse’s size.
Step by step
How to measure
You need a piece of string or a flexible tape.

Around the nose
Measure three to four fingers below the cheekbones, where a cavesson sits above the nostril cavities (shown as 1a on the diagram).

Over the poll
Measure over the poll (the top of the head) from one side of the noseband to the other.
Good to know
Use a halter as a guide
You can use your horse’s halter noseband as a guide, remembering the bridle may sit a little lower than a halter. The Amalia’s measurements are on its product page.
