APPLYING A PATCH
When mending a hole, a patch will work well. Cut a piece of fabric larger than the hole, lay it on the underside of your garment and trace around the outer edge.
Apply Tear Mender to the inside of that area as well as the back of the patch.
Place the patch over the hole and press firmly, let dry.

This is terrific stuff, it makes repairing horse rugs so easy and fast. I especially appreciate the fact that it is possible to mend synthetic and Teflon using the sandwich method. Rugs made from these materials are difficult to sew and still keep rainproof, and normally impossible to glue. The applicator was ok to use once I realised the glue was thinner than I expected and therefore came out quite quickly. So far the repairs have stood up to paddock wear and tear.
