EquiMud is ideal for use in the frog, sulcus, and other shallow hoof crevices and may assist with thrush.
EquiMud contains no harsh or corrosive ingredients known to degrade the beneficial microbiota and solar/frog tissue, in particular, it contains no copper sulphate, and we have avoided the use of tea tree oil as this is an allergen for some equines.
The thick, yet smooth consistency provides for a very easy-to-apply product. If you can’t beat the mud, join it!
Clay is designed to stick to the hoof as mud would allow us to compete with debris and replace it with an effective purifying alternative.
EquiMud is also perfect for application when trimming and in use under 3D pads, glue on shoes, dental impression material, and during prolonged use of hoof boots.
In the case of packing deeper cracks and resections, EquiFibre is recommended.

I can’t live without this stuff. I don’t know how it sticks so well but it does! When there’s rain coming I smear it all over the frog and in the collateral grooves and central sulcus, and all over the white line. It helps to dry out whatever it sticks to. I dont expect it to stay on for long, but it always happens that a few days later -there it is, still in the sides of the frog! And if I leave it there it often stays in for a week or longer, keeping everything dry and keeping mud out. It’s like magic, really. A great product to prevent thrush and other nasties.
